This check will include a comprehensive 30 minute consultation with your Doctor covering Men’s health concerns.

Physical Examination:
- Height
- Weight
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- Waist Circumference
- Blood Pressure
- Pulse
- Cardiovascular examination
- Respiratory examination
- Testicular Examination
- Prostate Examination
- Mole Examination
- Eyesight Test
Blood Investigations:
- Full Blood count
- Kidney Function Test
- Liver Function Test
- Thyroid Function Test
- Blood Sugar
- Cholesterol and Lipid Profile
- Prostate specific antigen (PSA)
(Prostate Screening is recommended for men from the age of 50 years or from the age of 40 years if there is a family history of prostate cancer)
- Urinalysis
- Haemochromatosis blood test (serum ferritin initially)
- Vitamin levels check (including Vitamin B12, Folic acid level)
Cost:
The total cost of the Well Man Health Check is €120 which is payable on the day of the appointment.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the extended nature of these health screening appointments, it is necessary that patients give 48 hours notice of intention to cancel. Failure to do so will incur a cancellation charge of €50.
As you will be fasting prior to your appointment, all Well Man Health Checks are booked into our earliest appointment slots. Should any further investigations be required i.e. ECG, Spirometry, 24 hr BP monitoring will incur a separate charge.
You will need to fast for 14 hours prior to your appointment time (it is ok to drink water) and you will be asked to provide a urine sample on arrival.
The results of any tests should be available one week after your appointment – your doctor will arrange to communicate the results to you.
